This was such a fantastic day and unexpected as we booked so last minute. Not for those with a height intolerance (!) but so worth the steps up. The village experience was brilliant and the food prepared was the best meal we’d had on the trip so far. Buddhika then took us onto the temple caves and again taught us so much of their history, and the beauty of the statues and paintings spoke for themselves.
